The investment for a video is directly related to the complexity of the project. I liken it to asking the question "How much does a house cost?" So many thoughtful questions need to be answered before you can give a good quote for constructing a house.  

It also depends on what market you are in. Since Eugene is a mid-sized non-union market, production costs generally aren't as expensive as larger markets like Portland, Seattle and Los Angeles. In those markets video production for a "standard corporate video" ranges from the low end of $5,000 to $15,000 and more.  High-end commercials are $25,000 - $100,000+.  Complex animations are $10,000 - $70,000 or more. 

That being said, I estimate the average cost for a 1-2 minute "about us" video for your website is $1800-$2800. Often I can make the most of that production and pull shorter videos from that original production to use for social, digital and commercial applications - depending on the goals and needs of each client.  

A facility tour video starts at around $400 and goes up from there depending on the complexity. 

The costs for training videos are all over the board because they are so varied in content and length.

There are often ways to save money by using stock elements, already filmed video, or all graphics instead of video, but ONLY if the end result is something that elevates your brand.

If the client wants unedited files provided, there is an additional buyout fee that is quoted based on the project at hand.
